The story
A couple in luxurious dress stand close, the man's hand laid tenderly on the woman's breast as her fingers rest lightly on his. Likely the biblical Isaac and Rebekah. Painted by Rembrandt around 1665 — he applied the gold paint of her sleeve so thickly he could carve into it with his brush.
