Setubandha - Rama and Lakshmana crossing the bridge to Lanka with the Monkey Army
The story
Rama and Lakshmana lead the monkey army across the great causeway to Lanka, on their way to rescue Sita from Ravana — the Ramayana's grand setpiece. You can still see the monkeys piling stones into the sea at the right. Painted in the Punjab Hills around 1770.
