Indian miniature painting of Gurbaksh Singh Kanhaiya

Gurbaksh Singh Kanhaiya, son of the Sikh leader Jai Singh, sits with a fly-whisk attendant beside him. Painted around 1785 by the family workshop of Purkhu of Kangra, court painter to Raja Sansar Chand, who turned out many portraits of Sikh and hill-country notables.
