Rose Garden

Pink, red and violet circles, like flowering bushes seen from above, sit across a network of sharp-edged blocks suggesting roofs, paths and garden plots. Klee painted this small piece in 1920, hovering between map and landscape, shortly before he joined the Bauhaus.
