Road toward the Farm Saint-Siméon, Honfleur

A snow-covered country road leads toward the Saint-Siméon inn near Honfleur in Normandy. The inn was an informal artists' colony in the 1860s. Monet returned to this exact view at least ten times — possibly his first serial investigation of a single subject. Painted in 1867.
