Pigeons around a dovecote

A flock of pigeons crowds around a dovecote. The painter, Ustad Mansur, worked at the Mughal court in the early 1600s. He specialised in plants and animals, and was also among the first artists ever to paint a dodo from life — earning the title "Unequalled of the age" from the emperor Jahangir.
