Shiva, Parvati and Nandi

The god Shiva sits enthroned on Mount Kailash with his wife Parvati and, in the best-known version, their son Ganesha, the white bull Nandi at their side. Designed by Raja Ravi Varma in the late 1800s, this became one of the most familiar home images of Shiva's family in modern India.
