Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Email address — only if you subscribe to the daily email. Stored to send you that email and nothing else.
• Anonymous visitor identifier— a random string stored in your browser, used to personalise the feed (so the same paintings don't recur) and to record aggregate usage.
• Google account info — if you sign in with Google: your email, display name, and profile picture. Used to recognise you across devices.
• Push-notification subscription — only if you enable push: a device-specific token from your browser, used to deliver the notification you signed up for.
• Usage events — which paintings or poems you view, which artists you filter by, in-app actions like save and share. Used for aggregate analytics and to shape what the feed shows next.

Why we collect it

To deliver the parts of Mojud you opted into (the daily email, push, sign-in), to keep the feed feeling personal rather than random, and to understand which paintings and poems land with people so we can curate better.

Where it lives

We use a small set of third-party services:

• Supabase — database and authentication.
• Google — only if you sign in with Google.
• Resend — sends the daily email.
• Vercel — hosts the site.
• Cloudflare R2 — serves painting images.

Each receives only the data they need to do their job — e.g. Resend sees your email and unsubscribe token; Google sees nothing beyond the standard sign-in scopes you grant on the consent screen.

What we don't do

We don't sell or rent your data. We don't run ad-network tracking. The daily email contains a single unsubscribe link and no marketing pixels.

Your controls

• Unsubscribe — every daily email has an unsubscribe link; one click stops the emails immediately.
• Disable push— in your browser or device settings, or by clearing the app's data.
• Delete your account and data — email prj2611@gmail.com and we'll remove your record within 30 days.

Local storage and cookies

The site stores a few items locally in your browser: an onboarding flag so you don't see the welcome screen twice, the anonymous visitor identifier described above, and the scroll position of the feed. If you sign in, a Supabase session cookie is also set so you stay signed in across visits.

Children

Mojud is a general-audience art site and isn't directed at children under 13. Please don't use the site if you are under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that materially affects what we collect or how we use it, we'll update the date at the top of this page and notify subscribers by email.
