Westminster Bridge, with the Lord Mayor's Procession on the Thames

The Thames is packed with festive boats for the Lord Mayor's annual river procession, with the half-built Westminster Bridge rising behind. Canaletto painted this in 1747 during his years working in Britain, partly inventing the bridge since it wasn't finished until 1750.
