The Virgin and Child with Saint Anne and the Infant Saint John the Baptist

The Virgin sits on her mother Saint Anne's lap and reaches for the baby Christ, with young John the Baptist standing at the right. This is a full-scale charcoal-and-chalk drawing, probably meant as a plan for a painting that never happened. It's the only complete drawing of Leonardo's that survives.
