Sri Shanmukha Subrahmanya Swami

The six-faced son of Shiva — also called Kartikeya or Murugan — sits on his peacock with his two wives Valli and Devasena beside him. Designed by Raja Ravi Varma and widely printed, this became one of the standard devotional images of the Tamil god in early 1900s India.
