Landscape with Arab Horsemen

Mounted Arab horsemen ride through a sun-bleached landscape. The Italian painter Alberto Pasini travelled widely in Persia, Turkey, and North Africa from the 1850s onwards, and his careful attention to architecture and horses made him one of nineteenth-century Italy's most respected painters of these scenes.
