Bremer Rathaus Fritz Geyer
The story
Bremen's late-Gothic town hall in 1910, painted alongside the tower of the nearby St. Ansgarii church. The tower collapsed in 1944, which makes Geyer's painting a quiet historical record now — a piece of the city's skyline that no longer exists.
