Bharata Welcoming Rama, Sita, Lakshmana and Hanuman to Ayodhya

Bharata kneels to welcome Rama, Sita, Lakshmana and Hanuman home to Ayodhya after their long exile, returning the sandals he had kept on the throne in Rama's name. Designed by Raja Ravi Varma and printed as a popular oleograph before 1906, it helped fix this Ramayana moment in the Indian imagination.
